Does registering with OZevent cost money?
Nope, registration costs nothing. OZevent only takes a .33cent fee from each ticket sold, which doesn’t have to be paid by you. You can include a .33cent fee on top of the price you’ve set for your ticket, so your fee is being paid by the ticket purchaser.
What are the costs?
Our fee is only .33cents which can be added on top of the price of your tickets and then paid by the ticket purchaser. There is also a 1.9% + .30cent transaction fee for credit card payments. If your event is free, then it’s free on us! No catch!
Getting Paid
If I’m selling tickets, how do I get my money?
Once you’ve registered, all you need to do is add your bank account information, or your paypal address, and you will be able to easily withdraw your money. Many event organisers require a deposit to be paid for an event, if this is the case we require you to get in touch with us prior to setting up the event so we can arrange this for you.
Security
How secure are the financial transactions?
Our site is hosted on a secure server and uses industry standard SSL (encryption) for all communication between you and our server. This means your information; including credit card information is secure.
We have a direct merchant facility with the bank to process credit card payments. This means we’ve passed the bank’s stringent security checks on our company, the company director, and our website. As part of this, we do not store your credit card information at any time, even for recurring payments. The bank stores and handles all transactions on our behalf.

Our website is based on the OpenCart platform which is the world’s most-used shopping cart platform. This means things such as our user login, database security, and code protection haven’t been re-invented and coded by us; it’s all been handled by OpenCart meaning it’s secure and used by millions of websites around the world.

Can I use this site to buy tickets to events?
Certainly! Click on the ‘Buy Tickets’ button to see a list of events that you can buy tickets too.
I’ve lost my tickets! Help!
No problem, simply contact the event organiser so they can re-issue your tickets. To contact the event organiser, simply click on the event you bought tickets for and there will be a ‘Contact Organiser’ form which you can use to get in contact with them.
What if I don’t have a printer?
Have a smart phone? How about an Ipad? Most organisers don’t mind a digital copy of the tickets.
When will I get my tickets?
Once you’ve ordered your tickets, they should arrive by email within minutes of ordering. If they don’t arrive please check your junk mail before contacting the event organiser.
Can I change my booking?
Unfortunately OZevent can’t determine that for you. You will need to contact the event organsier. To contact the event organiser, simply click on the event and there will be a ‘Contact Organiser’ form which you can use to get in contact with them.
